Dona Mondragon, Founder and President
Dona is the inventor, author and illustrator of Débu's product line. This amazing new heirloom gift is not only appealing to families with young girls entering puberty and dealing with menstruation; it has gained the attention of Physicians, Mental Health Care workers and Educators. Débu is proud to have it's products carried by Kaiser Permanente's resource library and to have the endorsement of one of Vancouver's leading OBGYN Physicians. Débu has also received the support and approval of the founders own childhood Pediatrician and a Clinical Social Worker.
Dona's special message is best imparted to young girls who are about to cross the threshold into womanhood. It is at this time they are most in need of welcoming from the women in their lives. It is the job of every woman to reach out and help young girls navigate the sometimes scary waters of female development and her first menstruation cycle. In doing this, girls are provided with a foundation upon which to build self-confidence, compassion and strength. The Founder's goal is to inspire every girl to make choices that will better assure her of a life filled with safety, productivity and happiness.
