Physician Endorsement

As a family physician my goal when dealing with adolescents is to help them feel good about themselves and their bodies. In that way, they are better able to make life long decisions to ensure their continued health and well being.

In my role as a mother, I see no greater challenge in my life than raising my daughters to have a strong sense of self. Understanding the changes that occur during puberty is an essential part of this process. My own mother was uncomfortable with the topic of puberty and so the only real discussion I can remember was very awkward. As a result I was left with many questions and did not feel as though I could discuss them with her.

I wanted my own daughter's experience to be one of celebration and not fear. Débu Inc. is a wonderful resource for young women and their families. It is just right for both the younger girl just starting out as well as the teenager. The written material covers important issues of body changes and feelings, while leaving details of sexuality for parents to cover. The games are fun and help foster a comfortable dialog.

Sharing this box with my daughter has been a great experience. She especially loves the moonstone necklace because it makes her feel special. While my favorite is the Xpression Card Game since this has been a very effective way of allowing her to recognize and deal with feelings in a constructive way.

I recommend the Débu's products not only as a health care provider, but also as a mother because my daughter is excited about puberty in a way I never was.

What Our Customers Say

I came across your site while searching on how to explain the monthly thing to my grandaughter, as I was raised with all boys and nothing was explained to me. This is awesome and it sure will help. You have done a great job and I give ya an A++ because even I at close to retirement age read the health sites and do not fully understand what they are talking about and sometimes they don't even explain. So thank you so much for this site and I have forwarded it to a friend who has a daughter. I am really in awe.

God Bless!

I would just like to say Thank You so much! I am VERY pleased and I am sure she will be too! I can hardly wait to present it to her in our circle of women. Again I would just like to say that your products are "Top Notch" and you can be very proud of your work and what you are offering our young ladies and their families. Kudos to you! I will definitely let you know what her response is and how she feels. Your efforts and willingness to go above and beyond shine through and I know your business will be a great success. I will be telling everyone about you and can hardly wait to see you on Oprah.

This is amazing and beautiful. We had so much fun going through it last night. I love it! We laughed, we cried, we had so much fun. I can tell you spent a lot of time putting it together and trying to keep it from being to mythical, gaudy or cheesy. Thank you so much. What a memory!

Liza called me last night and went into great detail about how wonderful your "Full Moon" box is and how she and Becca had told strangers about it because Becca was so thrilled. Liza was especially impressed with the "Xpressions" cards, which she reviewed in advance and approved them all. She and Becca talked about situations that are going on in their lives right now and with friends and family. Then Liza asked Becca to choose 3 good and 3 bad feelings that she was having on that particular subject or towards the particular person they had been discussing. She said Becca showed great maturity (which melted Mom's heart) when she thoughtfully looked through all of the cards and picked out one that helped her talk through her problems with a friend. Becca is 10 and those cards along with a talk with her Mom helped her to realize that she was making her friend feel ashamed because she is poor and sometimes wears dirty or torn clothes. I could go on forever. One woman remarked that it was an "ingenious idea". The demand is there girl!
